You are warmly invited to join Steven Savides for a thematic exploration of the scriptures on the first Saturday of each month. We’ll meet over breakfast in Fellowship Hall from 7:30-9am.
Participants are encouraged to read the focus scriptures before the meeting, to bring a Bible (any translation will do), and to be prepared for a journey through scripture aimed at providing both perspective and depth.
November 2: Rules for the Christian Life (Focus scripture: Ephesians 4:25-5:2)
December 7: Who is Jesus the Christ? (Focus scripture: Colossians 1:15-23)
Steven is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and a PhD candidate at the University of Notre Dame’s Department of Theology and Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. It just so happens that he is also Nanette’s husband and a member of First Congregational Church.
Please RSVP to Kasey Kalchert or contact the office at 330.253.5109.
