You are invited to be a part of Mitzvah Day, or “Tikkun Olam,” which is Hebrew for “to commit a moral deed. In 2002, the Temple Israel began this tradition in Akron, where area faith organizations come together for a day of caring for the community. This year, Mitzvah Day will be held on June 1 and 2. If you are interested to learn more or participate, please stop by the church office for a brochure on the available projects. You can sign up online or contact Elizabeth Fesler.
