Music at First Congregational Church has a long standing tradition of excellence. It is as distinct and diverse as the worshiping community. On Sunday mornings you can hear the beautiful and rich colored sound of the Chancel Choir, feel the organ music flow through your body as the pipes speak with both brilliance and depth, raise your voice in cheerful song with keyboards and percussion, or relax and enjoy the soothing sound of folk music on a guitar.
Doors are open in so many ways at First Congregational. All you have to do is show up and someone will be there to greet you. In fact, if you are not careful you might have a choir folder and robe assigned before you leave.
Here are some of the ways you can get involved.
Children’s Choir (K-5th grade)
Sunday mornings at 10:30 on the second floor of the Education Building
Chancel Choir (youth and adults)
Sunday mornings at 9:15 in the Choir Room which is located on the first floor of the Education Building
If you are an instrumentalist or have any questions about the choirs please call Mark Peterson, Interim Director of Music, at the church (330.253.5109) or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Come join us in this distinct and diverse ministry!
