Season of Lent

Please join us during the Season of Lent. All are welcome!

Mardi Gras Sunday

One service at 11am, Meetinghouse. Communion shared during worship.
Join us on Transfiguration Sunday right before the beginning of the season of Lent for a celebratory Mardi Gras jazz worship service. We’ll be serving a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast in Fellowship Hall to those attending worship, with fun activities for the kids. Free-will donations for breakfast gratefully accepted, food service 9:30-10:30am.

Ash Wednesday Worship

Join us at the beginning of the season of Lent for a service of Remembrance and Recommittal. This brief evening service is a profoundly meaningful way to begin the period of 40 days leading to Easter Sunday.

First Sunday of Lent

This Lenten Season our Senior Minister, Nanette Pitt, will preach a sermon series focused on Christian Character. This week’s message will focus on Resisting Temptation.

Second Sunday of Lent

Senior Pastor, Nanette Pitt, continues the Lenten sermon series on Christian Character with a sermon entitled Living with Courage. Our Handbell Choir will also be playing during our 11am service this week so join us for this meaningful Lenten service.

Third Sunday of Lent

The third in our sermon series on Christian Character, this week’s message will focus on Persevering in Faith, delivered by our Senior Minister, Nanette Pitt.

Fourth Sunday of Lent

As our Lenten journey deepens, our focus on Christian Character continues with a today’s sermon focusing on Unconditional Love.

Fifth Sunday of Lent

This Lenten Communion worship service offers an opportunity to prepare for the remembrance of Holy Week and the joy of Easter. In a message entitled Giving and Receiving, our Senior Pastor, Nanette Pitt, will focus on another aspect in a series on Christian Character.

Palm Sunday

Join us for a moving remembrance of Jesus’ triumphal entry in Jerusalem, setting the scene for the Messianic hopes of his followers who had no idea of the events of the week to come and of the faithfulness of a God who would give them the promise of new life not just for their time but for ours too.
