First Church has partnered with Open M since 1968. Open M feeds the hungry and treats the mind, body, and spirit through their work. This includes helping empower people so they can be productive workers at good jobs, providing dignity in their lives.

During the past two-plus years, churches were unable to assist Open M with a vital mission: providing more than 200 food baskets to make the Christmas holidays more enjoyable for families. This year, First Church has been asked to collect 200 boxes of Rice-A-Roni. We will have a collection box in the church office from October 9 through November 27 for donations.
