Associate Minister of Visitation

First Church is actively seeking a part-time Associate Minister for Visitation. Working closely with the Senior Minister and the Congregational Care Team, this position would be to provide pastoral care for the sick, shut-in, and others in need of support through regular visitation and follow up. Serving Holy Communion would be an important part of this ministry. Ordination in the United Church of Christ or an equivalent denomination and possessing a Master of Divinity degree from a seminary accredited by the Association of Theological Schools or equivalent certification, is required. It is anticipated that the position would require 10-15 hours per week and that the schedule would be flexible. Position requires local travel.

Church School Coordinator

First Church is actively seeking a part-time Church School Coordinator who would work 16-20 hours a week, including Sunday mornings. This person will provide leadership to nurture and enhance the educational ministries of the church for children, youth, and families with children. The ideal candidate will exhibit passion and energy for faith formation in children and helping parents nurture their children’s spiritual growth. We are developing a vibrant Church School firmly rooted in the Christian faith and are seeking a Coordinator who wishes to be part of that vision.
