Join us for free pancakes and fun craft activities! Have your children’s photo taken with the Easter Bunny and receive a free keepsake copy to take home. Open to the public, all are welcome!
Sunday, April 14, 9:30am and 11am
Join us for a moving remembrance of Jesus’ triumphal entry in Jerusalem, setting the scene for the Messianic hopes of the his followers who had no idea of the events of the week to come and of the faithfulness of a God who would give them the promise of new life not just for their time but for ours too.
Thursday, April 18, 5:30pm
Beginning this year, our usual Holy Week observances – including reading scripture as the lights dim in tenebrae tradition and placing our prayers at the foot of the cross to hear them nailed to it – will occur in a service on the evening of Good Friday (see details below). On Maundy Thursday (“Maundy” meaning “new commandment”) we will engage in a new service focusing solely on Jesus’ first Communion. Read more >>
Friday, April 19
9am–noon: The Chapel will be open for all for personal prayer & meditation.
12pm noon: Hear a brief service of scripture reading by Rev. Nanette Pitt with organ music by Julie Lehman.
7:30pm: Good Friday service in the Meetinghouse. Join us for this deeply moving service of readings and music. As a part of this tenebrae service, attendees are invited to lay prayer requests at the foot of the cross and hear them hammered onto the cross following the worship service.
Sunday, April 21, 9:30 and 11am in the Meetinghouse
Join us for two celebratory worship services. At 9:30am with our Celebrate worship team in an upbeat, eclectic and modern style and at 11am with our Festival worship team in a time honored tradition of choir, organ, and instrumental praise. Nursery care for infants and toddlers will be available during both services and a children’s Easter Egg Hunt will follow on the front lawn, weather permitting.
On Monday, April 22 the church will be closed.
