On Saturday, November 11, at 11am we will host guest speaker and local historian, Dave Lieberth, who will share a talk “Inventive. Industrious. Inspired. 200 years of Akron History.” The city of Akron will celebrate its bicentennial in 2025, just eight years before First Church. Dave Lieberth, who is a former Deputy Mayor of Akron, serves as the volunteer Executive Secretary of Akron’s Bicentennial Commission and is a well-known local historian. Members of the church and public are invited to join us for this free informative talk.
