First Church will once again host the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Fundraiser on behalf of the MLK Celebration Day Coalition and the City of Akron.
The event will feature the MLK Coalition choir, as well as music and videos from student scholarship recipients.
The event will take place on Sunday, January 14th at First Congregational Church of Akron (292 E Market Street, Akron) and will begin at 4pm. The keynote address will be offered by Barbara Sykes, member of the Akron School Board. This event is free and open to the public.
